Resume

Dr. Quanzhong Guo is an associate researcher at the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research predominantly centers on the corrosion behavior and protection strategies of light alloys (Mg, Al, Ti), along with surface treatment technologies and corrosion electrochemistry. He has made significant theoretical contributions by formulating the spectrum pulse feedback self-control mechanism for electrochemical treatment and establishing the design criteria for electrolytes. His developed coating technologies, such as microarc oxidation, ion plating, and self-healing composite coatings, have been extensively adopted in high-end sectors, notably aerospace and marine vessels, demonstrating remarkable practical value. He published more than 50 papers with total citation of more than 1000 times, held 20 authorized China invention patents.
