The 30th IFHTSE World Congress is scheduled to be held in Suzhou, China from August 19 to 22, 2025.

 

Organized by the Chinese Heat Treatment Society (CHTS), established in 1963, this event marks a significant milestone in the longstanding tradition of collaboration and exchange within global heat treatment and surface engineering communities. As one of China's oldest professional societies, CHTS has fostered a rich history of friendship and cooperation with international counterparts for over six decades.

Our Society serves as a platform for technology and innovation, connecting more than 1,000 institutional members and 6,000 individual members while facilitating worldwide partnerships across academia and industry. The longstanding collaboration between CHTS and IFHTSE has yielded numerous landmark events,including: 

3rd International Congress on Heat Treatment of Materials (Shanghai, 1983)

  • 14th IFHTSE Congress (Shanghai, 2004)

  • 20th IFHTSE Congress (Beijing, 2012)

  • 25th IFHTSE Congress (Xi'an, 2018)

  • 2nd International Conference on Energy and the Future of Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (Beijing, 2014)

Building on this legacy, we are now directing our collective efforts and resources towards organizing a congress that will explore the interplay of tradition and innovation in heat treatment and surface engineering. This premier gathering will convene global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to:

  • Present groundbreaking advancements
  • Share transformative methodologies
  • Address emerging challenges
  • Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration
  •  

Delegates from diverse industrial and academic backgrounds will engage in dynamic discussions on heat treatment and surface engineering.

沪宁城际铁路：苏州站、苏州新区站，

上海→苏州，30 分钟

From Shanghai, take an inter-city express train to Suzhou and get off at Suzhou Railway Station or Suzhou Xinqu Railway Station (Suzhou New District Railway Station), which are two stops on the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity High-Speed Railway.

Travelling Time: 30 minutes.

 

京沪高铁：苏州北站，

北京→苏州，4 小时

From Beijing, take a high-speed railway train to Suzhou and get off at Suzhoubei Railway Station (Suzhou North Railway Station), which is a stop on the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway. Travelling Time: 4 hours.
   

轨道交通到达（by Tram）

地铁到达：1号线、3号线交汇站，狮子山站6号出口苏州北站、苏州站、苏州新区站，均有地铁可直达场馆。

Take Metro Line 1or Line 3,get off at Shizishanstop and take Exit6.

There are  several metro lines available to the Center from Suzhoubei Railway  Station.
